  3. At this point in time, only the power supply directly from Supra that has
  4. been packaged in with the SupraFAXModem is approved.  (Your local distributor
  5. may have re-packaged the modem with a supply that matches to your local power
  6. source.  In that case, the DEALER, not Supra, would be responsible for
  7. correctly rating the supply.)

  9. If trying to find a supply to use outside the US, or as a replacement for a
  10. failed power supply (see note below), Supra suggests looking for a supply
  11. with an output rated at 9 volts AC (alternating current) at 50 to 60 Hz and
  12. 1 amp. of current.  (The current rating is greater than the listed power
  13. requirements in the manual because many transformers are not corrected rated
  14. to supply full voltage at full current load.)  (Supra's warranty may be
  15. voided if damage is done by using the wrong type of power supply.)

  17. NOTE: Original Supra Power Supplies that fail due to defect are included in
  18. the warranty coverage on the Modem.  Supplies that have been damaged due to
  19. user damage, or acts of god, are not included in this policy, but may be
  20. purchased from Supra for 19.95 + Shipping & Handling.
